COME AND KNOCK ON THEIR DOOR AGAIN!

On March 7, IDT Entertainment's Anchor Bay Entertainment will give you three times the laughter and three times the fun with Three’s Company - Season 6. The show that helped shake up “jiggle TV” is back with a loopy mix of outrageous farce and screwy physical comedy. The series, that had an enormously popular run on ABC (1977-84), gets its wild 6th season beautifully packaged into a 4-disc set that contains all 28 episodes, including many fan favorites.
Based on the British series Man of the House, Three’s Company had fun with changing sexual attitudes and mores, and remains a colorful snapshot of the times and a laugh out loud funny TV original. The story of an amorous young chef named Jack Tripper (John Ritter, 3 Simple Rules), who shares a tiny beach side apartment with two very smart and sexy women, Janet (Joyce Dewitt, Behind the Camera: The Unauthorized Story of Three’s Company) and Terri (Priscilla Barnes, The Devil’s Rejects), who lead Jack into a wacky barrage of titillating misunderstandings. Along the way the platonic threesome will have to deal with the raised eyebrows of their not-to-hip landlord, Mr. Furley (Don Knotts, Andy Griffith Show), and their swinging bachelor neighbor, Larry (Richard Klien, Inside Schwartz).
Three’s Company - Season 6 contains some of the late John Ritter’s best moments; including the episode “Up in the Air” that remains a virtual showcase for the talented comedic actor’s masterful timing and elastic physical skills. The 6th season also rolls out a wonderfully manic guest appearance by Jeffery Tambor (Arrested Development) as a doctor who seems to be in need of his own medical attention.
Special Features:
The Best of Three’s Company: Hosted by Lucille Ball
Audio Commentary with Director Dave Powers
Laughs Around the World Episode in Polish
Booklet with Detailed Liner Notes

With the star power of Damon Lindelof (co-creator of the #1 show Lost) and artist Leinil Francis Yu, Ultimate Wolverine vs. Hulk #1 has sold out at Diamond. Marvel has no plans to reprint the first issue.

“5 out of 5…The pairing of Lindelof and Yu is much more than could be asked for, or expected, and Ultimate Wolverine vs. Hulk stands out. It is an excellent book that I highly recommend,” says Stephanie Mangold of SilverBulletComics.com.

“Lindelof wowed me with his comic book debut. If his “day job” ever falls through, he has found his calling right here. Artistically, this issue is a joy to behold from cover to cover,” says ComicFanatic.com.

After the stunning opening to the first issue, you cannot afford to miss Ultimate Wolverine vs. Hulk #2 as these two iconic characters throw down for what is sure to be one of the most epic and brutal battles that comicdom has ever seen. If you thought Wolverine getting ripped in half was crazy, just wait and see what Lindelof and Yu have in store next.

Retailers are advised to check their orders on issue #2.

Fans are advised that there may still be copies available at the retail level.

JOHN TADDEO TAKES HOME THE GOLD

Writer/director John Taddeo has been named a winner of a Grand Goldie Award for directing the short films, Zoom Suit and The Inside Job. Since April, 2005, both films have won numerous awards including Best in Show, Grand Festival Award and numerous Best Animation Awards.

Taddeo’s animated short film Zoom Suit is often described as a superhero Cinderella story. In Zoom Suit, a comedic chain of events leads to a latch key kid mistaking a battle suit of alien origin for a Halloween costume.

In The Inside Job, three bumbling mobsters struggle with the language barrier while interrogating a Spanish speaking bag man zip tied to a butchers table. The film pokes fun at serious topics of profanity, violence, vulgarity, racism and blasphemy in an attempt to dis-empower their serious natures with humor. Audiences roar at Taddeo’s explanation of the etymology of the word “douche bag” explained to the tune of “Pomp and Circumstance” (aka “Graduation March”).

The Goldie Film Awards is a competition recognizing excellence and expertise in film and TV worldwide. The Goldie Film Awards was founded in 1984 to give recognition to outstanding film and video productions, TV-programs, TV-spot commercials, audio productions, internet productions and scripts and to inspire creativity. The administrator is an experienced feature film producer from a 3-generation film/TV production family. Since 1984 hundreds of films and TV-spot commercials have received awards in the previous programs.

Winning a Goldie Film Award is an extremely prestigious honor as entries for the Goldie Film Awards competition do not compete against each other – instead they are judged against a high standard of expertise and excellence. The Judges are top film/TV production professionals and Goldie Awards winners. Entries which attain a score of 7.1 to 8.9 on the 10-point scale will be finalists for Silver Goldie Film Awards. Entries scoring 9.0 to 9.9 are Grand Goldie Award winners.

“This is only the second time that both films have won an award at the same festival as they tend to be enjoyed by very different audiences,” joked Taddeo. “The only thing I can say is that if you picked up Zoom Suit at one of the festivals for the kids make sure you picked up Zoom Suit. If you accidentally grabbed The Inside Job, you’re going to be answering a lot of questions tonight.”

The award-winning animated short Zoom Suit, created by John Taddeo, can be seen online at www.superverse.com. The Zoom Suit comic book will be solicited under Superverse in the February edition of Previews for items shipping in April 2006 on page 313. It can be ordered using product code: FEB063259.

Finch Spins Artistic Web in SPIDER-MAN UNLIMITED #14

Finch Takes On Spidey in Spider-Man Unlimited #14

The man who disassembled the Avengers and put the “ultimate” in Ultimate X-Men is tacking a crack at Marvel’s signature hero, Spider-Man. That’s right, superstar David Finch is penciling a Spider-Man story in the pages of Spider-Man Unlimited #14.

Writer C.B. Cebulski has been looking for a chance to work with Finch for years, going back to his days as a Marvel editor, and now he need wait no longer.

“David and I kinda came up together at Marvel as I started editing him on one of his initial X-Men Unlimited stories,” recounts Cebulski. “From there we moved over to The Call, then onto Ultimate X-Men. We've become great friends over the years and have always wanted to work together on a more creative level.”

“When Marvel read my Spider-Man Unlimited script, someone mentioned it would be the perfect story for Finch to tackle,” says Cebulski. “The stars must have been in alignment as it just so happened David had a hole in his schedule between New Avengers and Moon Knight that needed filling, and I'm honored he accepted the assignment. As you can tell from the pencils, I believe he had a blast drawing it!”

Cebulski made sure to jam-pack the story for Finch as not only does the Black Cat guest-star, but Dr. Doom makes an appearance after Spider-Man breaks into…Doctor Doom’s embassy?

Before David Finch blows everybody away with his revamp of Moon Knight coming this April, you cannot miss his amazing take on Spider-Man in Spider-Man Unlimited #14.

I love comics, and I hate my roommates, so this book was a natural for me,” commented writer Drew Melbourne. “ArchEnemies features all the comedy, all the drama, and all the action that I could possibly cram into four issues. I think people are going to be surprised by just how witty and cool and dramatic and fun this book is!”

DEVIL’S DUE PUBLISHING ANNOUNCES ACQUISITION OF FAMILY GUY LICENSE

Devil’s Due Publishing, Inc., one of the nation’s top comic book publishers, unveils attainment of its most anticipated property yet, FAMILY GUY –based on the award winning, #1 ranked animated series! Look for the first issue slated for April 2006!

FAMILY GUY, the show ranked #1 in its FOX timeslot among men 18-34 and teens 12-17, as well as the highest ranked program showing on both Cartoon Network and TBS, with the quickest selling TV DVD in history (Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story), recently became the only television show in history to become more popular after cancellation, returning for a bona fide new hit season – and now comic books!

Join Peter (dad), Lois (mom), Chris (son), Meg (daughter), Stewie (malevolent toddler bent on world domination), and Brian (talking dog who prefers his martinis extra dry) for all-new comic book adventures! The new comics, slated to begin in April, by FAMILY GUY writer Matt Fleckenstein, and illustrator Benjamin Phillips, will meld the cult comedy of the show with DDP’s unique graphic storytelling! The Family Guy will be written as if by the characters with the feel of a humor novelty book. The beginning and end of the book will feature advice from the characters and interspersed will be more traditional comic book stories all written by Matt Fleckenstein (Family Guy TV show writer).

“I’ve been a huge FAMILY GUY fan since the show first premiered, after the Super Bowl in 1999,” grins Devil’s Due Publishing’s President Josh Blaylock. “I’m beyond excited that DDP nabbed the Family Guy license. Not only is just about every comic book reader ALREADY a huge fan, but so many people outside of comics are as well.”

“The FAMILY GUY franchise is growing exponentially—and adding Devil’s Due Publishing to our family of creative licensee’s provides a wonderful opportunity to reach fans of the television series via a whole new medium” notes Michael Peikoff, 20th Century Fox Vice President, Domestic Licensing. “The comic books are highly anticipated and with the pedigree of writer Matt Fleckenstein –these comics will be a seamless extension of the FAMILY GUY brand”.
