Will you survive this review for Naina the DVD?

20 Years of Darkness. Seven Days of Hell. No One Could Survive It. She Did.

That is the catch phrase to Naina the newest release from Alluminaton FilmWorks

On a day of solar eclipse in 1986, five year old Naina loses both her eye sight and her parents in a road accident in London. Twenty years later, she is bestowed with the gift of sight thanks to the marvels of modern science. Her period of darkness is over; or is it? A horrifying period of darkness begins. What is this curse that has been upon her? Will she ever be able to escape it? Will this extraordinary sense she is now bestowed with destroy her life? Will she ever be able to resume her regular life again?
Naina takes us on her quest to find answers to these supernatural mysteries. Will she succeed?
If this sounds familiar to you that means you've seen the Japanese version called "The Eye".
The Plot is a direct translation of "The Eye" from car accident right down to visit to the village. Some of the changes where the inclusion of Hinduism to the story.
unfortunately with most translations it just becomes the same thing we have seen before. Nothing really new and inspiring.
If you haven't seen "The Eye" yet I recommend this movie. If you have well its always good to see a different take
3 out of 5
